i love your site. they don’t come whiter than me and almost every single post lets me laugh out loud at myself (college nickname at LSU? “big white”). so thank you.

a few things i hope you get around to writing about that either myself or other white people i know or my mexican relatives who want to be white or my brown friends who are white on the inside (eg, coconuts) or my handful of black friends (yes, i appear to be one of those white people who like to be the only white person around) would all agree to being rather white (not quite wonder bread & miracle whip with no crusts, well, yeah, maybe that white) are: the internet, rock climbing, breast feeding & baby einstein, anorexia, therapy, vans/converse/pumas, skiing/snowboarding, being agnostic, vehemently pro- or anti- gay marriage, dave eggers/zadie smith/jonathan lethem/jonathan safran foer books, harpers & the new yorker, hair braids when at the beach, using pseudo ‘gangsta’ words like f’realz, yo & f’shiggety, diet drinks, soy milk, tapenade, fancy cheese, spas, facials, massages, becoming buddhist or joining siddha yoga, fancy french bakeries that sell cupcakes.

also? white people LOVE writing blogs about their children and obsessively documenting their lives on flickr.

ps - i, too, have a crush on obama.
pss - i also have a crush on jemaine clement.
psss - i also have a prius, a sigg, an iphone, buy organic, LOVE arrested development, have worked in NGOs and in developing countries, and sometimes (not always) feel bad for poor people, you get the picture.
