		<description>That&#039;s a huge selection of produce - is that for just a week? California is so civilized. There&#039;s only one farm around me that does subscriptions, and theonly do a few vegetables per week, and I&#039;d have to drive 20 miles to pick them up. That&#039;s why I just spent $40 on seeds at seedsavers.org and have big seedling trays set up in my basement:)

Kale is also nice sauteed with a little anchovy &amp; nutmeg.</description>

I grew a lot of kale last year and the big hit around here was the traditional (I guess it&#039;s traditional) Irish dish called colcannon.  Basically it&#039;s mashed potatoes and you add steamed kale to it and mix it in.  Delicious!  I also add chopped kale to soups.

Red chard I love so much just sauteed in olive oil and garlic.  Chop up the stems too and saute them first then add the leaves.</description>
